Professionally Leading Worldwide Birders

Intermediate

Birding for several years, familiar with identification terms, and feels comfortable moving on a faster pace.

This is to help the participants get the most out of their birding trip. The focus, topic, or pace is completely different if you are birding with someone who is new to birding verses someone who is not only experienced, but has been birding in the tropics on a previous trip. Keeping all of the variables in mind of what can make an outstanding birding experience we feel this plays an important role in the key to success. There is probably a very fine line between what defines a beginner, intermediate, and advanced birder, but we will list a few suggestions to help classify yourself.

Beginner

Beginner

New to birding, possibly 1st group trip, still learning the basics, prefer to move at a slower pace.

Advanced

Advanced

Birding for more than 5 years, preferably have been birding in the tropics or Costa Rica previously, familiar with bird calls and wishes to improve his/her skills.
